BIOGRAPHY
The artist Andy weber has spent 8 years (1972 - 1982) living and studying the iconographical art of Tibetan Buddhism under the guidance of accomplished masters in India and Nepal. His unique style of authentic images for visualization are highly respected not only by the growing number of western Buddhist but also by Tibetan lamas of all traditions , many of whom have commissioned his work. His paintings can be seen in Buddhist centres and temples throughout the world and one , the Indian pandit Athisha,even hangs in the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. His images have become well known and popular through numerous publications.

Now with 25 years of experience he and his students offer their services to the wider Dharma community:

  • Commissions: commissions for traditional thankas of any any size, murals, landscape paintings in Tibetan style. Line illustrations, graphic design, logos for personal or company use, bookcover designs
  • Restoration: restoration of old and new thankas, painting and guilding of statues
  • Old thankas: we have the knowledge of using original Tibetan stone colours and dyes and have restored many damaged old thankas.
  • New Thankas: we restore new thankas damaged in transport or due to carelessness
