TSERING WANGMO
BIOGRAPHY
Tsering Wangmo, owner of Lhasa Moon, is also famous Tibetan actress, singer, and dancer. She has made numerous recordings and performed around the world with Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts of Dharmsala, India. In 1991, she became a founding member of Chakasam-pa Tibetan opera troupe in San Francisco, which has performed in Lincoln Center in New York and the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C., as well as throughout North America. In 1995, she opened Lhasa Moon, the first Tibetan restaurant in the Bay area.
