BIOGRAPHY

Geshe Lhundrup Sopa is a top-ranking recipient of the highest degree of traditional Tibetan studies from Sera Monastic University in Lhasa. He is now professor of South Asian Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, near which he founded the Evam Monastery and the Deer Park Center for the study of Indo-Tibetan Buddhism.
