MATTHIEU RICARD

BIOGRAPHY

Matthieu Ricard (Gelong Könchog Tenzin) lives in Shechen Monastery in Nepal. Born in France in 1946, he became a Buddhist monk in the 1970s. He has translated the works of Tibetan teachers, including His Holiness Kyabjé Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, and worked with The Padmakara Translation Group.
