Snow Lion collects personal information with each order you place. The requested information is clearly identified on the specific pages. Occasionally we share customer mailing addresses to organizations who have interests that are similar to ours. This is for one time use only. If you do not want to have your address shared with other like-minded organizations, please let us know and we will be glad to accommodate you. We do not share our customers' email addresses or phone numbers. We compile email lists for weekly dharma quotes and news updates in order to send you email messages requested by you. You will not be placed on these lists without opting in.

Snow Lion has standard security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under its control. Our online ordering system is simple and SAFE. Our site uses SSL encryption, the most powerful and reliable form of Internet encryption technology, to protect your personal information as it travels from your computer to our server. Once the data arrives it is further encrypted using PGP encryption for extra protection.
Our data is removed from our server to our customer service center where your order is fulfilled. Once your order is processed, your credit card information is not stored on our server.

Snow Lion uses IP address and browser name information automatically logged by its web server software to help diagnose problems with the Internet connection, servers and tools that generate browser-specific information, and to administer the systems.
