David Michie, a corporate communications consultant specializing in strategic planning, is a long-time meditator and author of the best-selling Buddhism for Busy People. He holds a Ph.D. in Communications Strategy and advises both publicly listed as well as private sector organizations.
A native of Rhodesia, David began his career in public relations in Johannesburg before moving to London in 1988. He has written a number of books, spanning fiction and non-fiction genres.
Buddhism for Busy People, his recently-published book, as well as being an introduction to Tibetan Buddhism, is also autobiographical, being a personal account of his encounter with Dharma, and how it has helped him.
David Michie is a student of the Tibetan Buddhist Society established by Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden, with centres in Australia and USA. He lives in Western Australia.
