Update on the Dalai Lama's Monastery in New York

Our Summer 2006 edition of the Snow Lion Buddhist News and Catalog revealed some of the first photographs of His Holiness the Dalai Lama's monastery, Dü Khor Choe Ling, being built in upstate New York. We thought you'd enjoy seeing a few of the latest pictures of the new monastery, taken during the festivities for the His Holiness's birthday on July 6, 2008.

The Kalachakra temple shrine room is near completion, and the front wing of the building, which will serve as the main entrance and community building, is taking shape.
