Topped with a tear-drop red coral, this attractive gau features 7 pieces of turquoise, fitted nicely into a scalloped leaf-shaped silver box. The sides have fine silverwork, traditional decorative silver loops embedded with tiny corals provide an exquisite way to thread a cord or chain, and the back pulls out to reveal the interior. 1.25" total vertically. We were assured that the coral used in this jewelry is from ancient seas, mined in the mountains, and no coastal coral reefs were harmed.
