Yamanthaka (Tib: Dorje Jigje) The wrathful aspect of all the buddha's wisdom is seen as Yamantaka, the destroyer of death. He destroys the ignorance of ego-grasping, which is keeping us trapped in recurring misery, the self-cherishing attitude preventing us from generating bodhicitta, and all defilements, including those of our presently deluded form, arising from these two' demons'.
