Amitayus (Tib: Tsepagme) The Buddha of Infinite Life is identical with Amithaba, the Buddha of Infinite Life residing in Suhkavati, the Joyous Pure Land. The practice extends one's lifespan and became popular in Tibet due to its blessing of life-enhancing empowerments and rituals.
