PRAYER WHEEL- hand held

Here is a traditional hand-held prayer wheel with copper drum with raised mantras, ornamented with red and turquoise colored beads. Inside the drum are tightly rolled papers with prayers, most commonly "Om Mani Padme Hum." A prayer wheel can easily contain 40,000 mantras, but it is good to repeat your own mantras at the same time. The weight attached by a brass chain to the drum mounted on a wooden handle helps radiate blessings into the Universe.
