THE SEVEN POINTS OF MIND TRAINING: A Commentary on Atisha's Teachings
by Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, trans. by Erik Pema Kunsang

8-CD set.

#SEPOCD - $ 63.00
Enlightenment is the fruition of Buddhist practice. While Mahamudra is a powerful and swift practice for achieving ultimate realization, strong emotions can obstruct our progress on this path. The Seven Points of Mind Training, a relative bodhicitta practice brought to Tibet by Atisha (982-1054 CE) is very effective in working with negative emotions. In these nine talks The Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche gives clear and concise explanations of these Seven Points which are presented in Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye's classic text The Great Path of Awakening. In Rinpoche's view, the combination of Mahamudra and the Seven Points of Mind Training is an excellent balance of both ultimate and relative bodhicitta practices that together offer a swift path to full realization.
