Click to enlarge	CORAL AND SILVER NECKLACE Old Style All coral. #NECO1 - $ 580.00 We were very fortunate to come by these two outstanding antique-style pieces--truly one of a kind--made by Himalayan artists. Stunning and elegant, each necklace is created of 9 strands of small coral beads, richly banded with about a dozen finely worked silver trapezoids, each featuring a 1/3" cabechon of mountain-mined red coral. The stones of one necklace are almost all coral, with just a few small turquoise beads to finish it off before a series of silver beads on the back; the other replaces three of the coral strands with three small turquoise ones. We were assured that the coral used in this jewelry is from ancient seas, mined in the mountains, and no coastal coral reefs were harmed. Generous use of silver throughout. Click to enlarge	ENDLESS KNOT NECKLACE 16" #NEENKN - $ 10.00 These striking endless knot necklaces are made from ivory-colored carved yak horn, interspersed with deep brown and white rondels. The central piece is inscribed with an endless, eternal knot, and is flanked by two curved images of "golden fish"--the symbol of happiness and spontaneity. Because these necklesses are handmade by Tibetans, specific arrangements of beads are variable, and each one is unique.

Marta has also been a very active Tibet supporter and gives a portion of the proceeds from her eternal knot jewelry to support the Tibetan freedom struggle. This lovely turquoise necklace with the eternal or endless knot pendant has a convenient slip-ring closure and variable design silver spacers.

Click to enlarge	TIBETAN TURQUOISE NECKLACE with GAU (Locket) #NETUP3 - $ 330.00 This traditional-style necklace, made of blue turquoise subtly graded from 1/2" in the back to 1" stones in the front, is enhanced by many touches of silver, including prayer-wheel-style bead and hexagonal clasp beads. In the center is a lovely stone-inlaid gau that opens to reveal a 1.7" diameter circular box for holding precious objects close to you--all in silver. The front of the gau features petals of turquoise surrounded by a circle of red coral and intricate silverwork, handmade by Himalayan artists. Tha gau iteself features a square of mountain-mined red corals with an inner square of tiny turquoise beads. Traditionally mounted with silverwork enhanced by more small corals, the gau suspends from a lovely 18 1/2" round of individually polished turquoise stones, interspersed with ornate silver beads, and finished with hexagonal beads and silver clasp. Click to enlarge	TURQUOISE "BOULDER" NECKLACE Large 23" total length. #NETULG - $ 370.00 Each of the stones in this amazing necklace have such beauty and presence that they could serve as center pieces by themselves. These are truly extarodinary stones, grading from 1.5" diameter to 2/3" near the silver clasp at the back. The central stones are enhanced by substantial silver separator beads carefully placed to bring out the character of the adjacent stones. Really beautiful!

From a central cluster of coral hangs a Tibetan-design curved-sided pendant. Its perimeter is defined by gorgeous red coral. In the center is a circular turquoise, flanked by a splay of four drop-shaped pieces of turquoise and five small coral beads. Fine silverwork throughout, and a substantial sterling silver backing. 19" total length, plus pendant.

Except for the central 1.5" turqoise pendant--finished with substantial silver beads--the necklace features graduated turquoises ranging in diameter from 1" at the center to 1/2" next to the silver clasp. Total length is about 19", not including the pendant.
